In a world dominated by digital photography, the magic of film still holds a special place. There’s something about the texture, the depth, and the way it handles light that feels timeless and intentional.

This image comes from a small creative project I shot at Retroids in Worcester with Gem. I used my Olympus OM-1, loaded with a roll of CineStill 800T, which really allowed the ambient neon and arcade lights to glow and bloom in a way only film can. The halation around the highlights and the rich, moody tones gave the scene a cinematic feel straight out of the camera.

Projects like this remind me why I keep coming back to film — it slows you down, makes you more deliberate, and rewards you with something beautifully imperfect and completely unique.
